| Welcome to MSP University | Memorial Day
Memorial Day, which falls on the last Monday of May, commemorates the men and women who lost their life while serving in the American military.
Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. Many
Americans observe Memorial Day by visiting cemeteries or memorials,
holding family gatherings and participating in parades. Unofficially, at
least, it marks the beginning of summer
MSP University
will be closed in observance of the upcoming Memorial Day holiday on Monday,
May 31st. We will be open at our regular hours of 8am to 5pm PST June 1st.

Using Email Newsletters to Grow Your Managed Service Business
| |
Email marketing newsletters
have become increasingly popular as an avenue for businesses to advertise, and
for good reason.
Email campaigns are a great way to generate repeat business as well a means to
find new clients. If you are looking to expand your business through email
newsletters here are some tips to get you started as well as a look at some of
the benefits of advertising through email marketing.
To start your email marketing campaign you will first need to collect email
addresses from your current and potential clients. There are numerous ways to
do this. A couple of ideas include when they make a purchase or by having them
sign up on your website. Make sure you get permission from them to be on your
mailing list.
You will then need to determine what content you want in your email. It is best
if you can find a balance between providing useful information as well as
offering some type of special or promotion in order to get them as a repeat
client. Always make sure you provide a link back to your website. Although
collecting email addresses and developing a newsletter is pretty basic, some
people do find it over whelming. If you are one of those individuals,
there are companies available that can help you get started.
Email marketing has numerous benefits. To start with it is a great tool to use
to stay in contact with your current customers. By them receiving your email
they will remember you and be more likely to use your services in the future.
Repeat sales are a huge advantage of email marketing. Using email marketing can
also be a great way to find new customers. Always include a link in each email
that allows recipients to forward it on to their contacts. Word of mouth is a
great way to gain new business.
Email marketing is also a very cost effective way to promote your IT solutions
and managed services business. It is simple and easy to set up and it
targets your best clients, your current ones. Other marketing like advertising
or snail mail can cost a lot of money and does not necessarily target a
receptive audience.
In addition, email marketing allows you to reach large numbers of people
instantaneously. You are not only are you saving money over other forms of advertising
but also time.
A final perk to this form of advertising is how easy it can be to track
results. You will be able to quickly identify any emails that were not
deliverable and work to get them corrected. You can also set up a tracking
system to see how many people who received an email opened it and how many
acted upon it. |
